Characters
The difference between a character profile and a character study is depth. Whether you want to write, draw, or RP them, a character profile has everything you need – it sticks to canon, explains their history, displays their personality, and showcases their powers and any interesting facts or pertinent information.
A character study, on the other hand, goes much further. Instead of sticking to canon, it uses canon as a jumping off point for exploration, reads between the lines, and tried to follow implications and hints to their logical conclusions. If you think it’s silly to try and think about anime characters from a basis in reality – which is perfectly understandable – they probably aren’t for you.
Please note that these all contain massive spoilers, so if you haven’t seen the series or don’t want it spoiled, be careful.
