Species, Race, Nationality:
Japanese. (Although, his father was created, and not born, and may not actually count as ethnically Japanese.)
Age:
16 at the beginning of the series, 18 by the end. His birthday is February 29th.

Family:
His father Fujitaka and little sister Sakura, and the ghost of his mother whom he could see prior to giving up his magic.
Friends and associates:
Yukito is the only friend he’s shown hanging out with, but they are very close. He was also close to the teacher Kaho, but most of his time is spent with his family or Yuki.
Occupation:
Various. He has or had several different part time jobs, first to save up for a motorcycle, and then to save for college. This was played up more in the anime.

Hair:
Dark brown or black, short and spiky.
Eyes:
Probably brown.
Height:
Tall; the only character who might be taller is Fujitaka.
Build:
Athletic. He plays soccer and is physically active.
Clothes:
His school uniform involves a light blue blazer and a tie with the school’s crest on it. Outside of school he wears either his uniform from school (if he’s just come from there), the uniform of whatever job he’s going to, or ‘normal’ clothes (i.e. usually jeans and a tee shirt).

Intelligence:
Though quiet, he is obviously intelligent, as he likes chemistry in particular and school in general. His intuition is also top-notch and he’s quite perceptive.
Likes:
His favorite class in school is chemistry (his least favorite, however, is listed as “none”), his favorite color is blue, and his favorite flower is peach blossoms (for which he is named). His favorite food is steak. He also likes his family, Kaho, and especially Yukito, and helping people.
Dislikes:
His least favorite food is ganmodoki (a fried tofu fritter), and he dislikes Syaoran on principle.
Goals, Desires:
According to his manga sidebar, the top of his wishlist is a new pair of sneakers. He doesn’t really reveal much of his desires, except to keep Yukito and Sakura safe.
Personality:
He’s relatively serious, quiet, and mature, although he teases his sister; despite calling her a monster, he is very protective of her and everyone he holds dear. He goes with her places to protect her (without drawing attention to the fact) and really didn’t like Syaoran when he saw him as a threat, took care of her when she was sick (without worrying their father), and seems to like taking care of Yukito in general.
In general he is very responsible; of his own volition he holds various part time jobs to save money for a motorcycle and then college.
For a normal-seeming teenage male, he is surprisingly thoughtful and selfless. After he got his motorcycle, he didn’t use it to get to school because he knew that Sakura would try to follow him and it would be dangerous. He was described by Kaho as always having been kind to nonhumans, and in fact always knew that Yukito wasn’t human but loved him anyway. When the Mirror card took Sakura’s form, he put his life in danger to oblige her even though he knew it wasn’t his sister (although he seemed to think it was a spirit who needed to find peace). He also willingly gave up all of his magic to save Yue and Yukito from disappearing altogether. He seems sometimes to be embarrassed by his thoughtfulness, though, preferring that Yuki take the credit for doing something nice for Sakura, for example.
He’s also pretty unflappable. Spirits, nonhumans, magic, and even people’s actions don’t seem to faze him. He knew that Sakura had a magic double in her place, at one point, but didn’t seem to be troubled by it. When he is surprised, he doesn’t show it openly; Sakura saw it on his face, but Yukito and Fujitaka are probably the only other ones who could. Rarely is he actually open with his emotions; he tends to be cool on the outside, even when he’s sweet or flustered on the inside.

Strengths:
He has a strong and even-keeled personality and is hard to upset, and he is rational even in times of crisis.
Weaknesses:
He can be overprotective, and has actually put himself in danger to help others.
Powers, Abilities, Talents:
He naturally had a fair amount of magic and had the ability to see spirits. He also instinctively knew that Yukito was not human, and seemed to have an instinct for magic, as he was drawn to Kaho and didn’t like Syaoran.
However, he gave all of his power to Yue to support him and Yukito until Sakura was strong enough to do so, and seems to have become a normal human. He fell asleep with all of the other non-magical people in Tokyo when Eriol plunged the city into false night.

History:
He has had a relatively normal life, except that he could see ghosts. His mother died when he was nine, and since that time he and Sakura were raised by their father; Fujitaka had no realtives, and their mother’s family was angry with him and so essentially disowned them. Touya could sometimes see his mother’s spirit along with the other ghosts, however.
In middle school, he met a woman named Mizuki Kaho with whom he was infatuated, right before he found out she was his student teacher. They kept up a relationship until she left to study in England (her last act was to tell him to do his homework and pat him on the head).
In his freshman year of high school, Yukito entered his school and they became friends. Kaho returned to teach at Sakura’s school in time, but they did not strike up a relationship again, as they each already had given their heart to someone else. Things stayed this way until either his junior or senior year when Yukito was beginning to fade away because Sakura’s power couldn’t support him, and he eventually, after being continually interrupted, managed to tell Yuki that he knew he wasn’t human, and met Yue for the first time. They ended up both making this face at each other ( ¬_¬ ), but he gave Yue all of his magic power to save them. They are implicitly a couple by the end of the series.
