Yaoi Rating: Introduction
The Yaoi Rating System is a tool for rating just how good a normal, popular anime or manga series is for writing realistic yaoi fanfiction, where the characters can stay in character and the situation is believable. Some series just scream “yaoi me!”, while others that don’t necessarily seem that different have to have yaoi pried from them with sweat and blood and tears (and possibly other bodily fluids). Sometimes you see gorgeous bishounen in a show and you want to pair them, then when you sit down to write it’s just not happening… other times it writes itself when you may not even be all that interested.
